Healthy Partnerships

INTERNSHIPS

Currently Healthy Partnerships (HP) has Internship Programs with:

  • Chapman University
  • University of Phoenix
  • Sacramento State College
  • JFK University
  • Diablo Valley Community College (Substance Abuse Counselor Certification Program)
  • Solano Community College (Certificate in Human Services and Counseling Programs)

To be considered for the Internship Program, a minimum six (6) month internship commitment with ten (10) hours per week (not including supervision time-2 hours per week) is required by the applicant. Through the years of offering the Clinical Internship Program Healthy Partnerships has found this level of commitment offers a stronger and more beneficial clinical experience for the people we serve, the intern and Healthy Partnerships.

Clinical Supervision is provided by licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) at the Vacaville and Fairfield offices. Interested persons should call the Fairfield or Vacaville office and ask to schedule an appointment with the Program Manager.

Upon review of the application and available positions, the applicant will be oriented and scheduled according to background, education and experience. HP will consider applicants from other masters programs and substance abuse counselor certificate programs.
