Healthy Partnerships (HP) is committed to a policy of providing equal access to treatment, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability or ability to pay.

INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS TO SERVICES

Services, benefits and facilities shall be provided to qualified individuals and families without regard to their race, ethnicity, color, creed, national origin, age, sexual orientation, or physical/mental disability in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title 42 CFR Section 2000d, and any rules and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto, or as otherwise provided by State and Federal law.

For the purpose of this agreement, distinctions on the grounds of race, creed, color or national origin include, but are not limited to the following: denying a participant any service or benefit or providing to a participant any service or benefit which is different, or is provided in a different manner or at different time from that provided to another participant under this contract; subjecting a participant to segregation or separate treatment in any manner related to his receipt of any advantage or privilege enjoyed by others receiving any service or benefit; treating any participant differently from others in determining whether he has satisfied any admission, enrollment quota, eligibility, membership or other requirement or condition which individuals must meet in order to be provided any service or benefit;  and the assignment of times or places for the provision of services on the basis of their race, ethnicity, color, creed, national origin, age, sexual orientation, or physical/mental disability of the participants to be served.

Healthy Partnerships shall take affirmative action to ensure that intended beneficiaries are provided services without regard to their race, ethnicity, color, creed, national origin, age or physical/mental disability.

All complaints alleging discrimination in the delivery of outpatient/day treatment services at Healthy Partnerships because of a participant's race, ethnicity, color, creed, national origin, age, sexual orientation, or physical/mental disability may be resolved by the State of California, Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP) through their Affirmative Action complaint process.
